St. Mary of the Lake Seminary
Introduction
The Very Reverend Thomas J. Murphy delivered an address to Niles College students on the theory behind St. Mary of the Lake Seminary in Mundelein, IL and the role it plays in the formation of young men preparing for the priesthood. “The end result of the Mundelein experience is Roman Catholic priesthood,” said Rev. Murphy. “But we know full well that this end result is not a completed product, a finished product – rather, we hope, that during the experience at Mundelein we will have instilled in men the desire to continue the growth experience – formationally, spiritually, academically.”
