Archbishop Murphy dedicates his weekly Catholic Northwest Progress “In Joy and Hope” column to the Archdiocese of Seattle’s Annual Catholic Appeal. He calls on all members of the Church of Western Washington to give generously to this annual campaign – one that funds a wide variety of ministries whose sole purpose is to assist the most disadvantaged members of our society. “Among the virtues which have characterized the Christian community from its very beginning has been the generosity of people who take the risk of being disciples of Jesus,” said Archbishop Murphy.
