Catholic Community Services Building Dedication

Archbishop Murphy presided at a dedication ceremony of a new Catholic Community Cervices of Snohomish County building in Everett, WA. He identified charity and service as essential aspects of the mission and ministry of the Catholic Church. In closing, he stated the following, “Though we celebrate a new beginning here in Snohomish County with the dedication of this new facility, what we do this evening is of little consequence unless we are willing to live out the full challenges of the Gospel message – to see the Risen Lord among the poor and needy.”
