Thanksgiving – Why bother to celebrate?

In his weekly Montana Catholic Register “Reflections” column, Bishop Murphy calls on all members of the Church of Eastern Montana to celebrate Thanksgiving every day of the year. He says, “Thanksgiving is at the heart of our experience as Roman Catholics. That is what Eucharist is all about and we give thanks each time we proclaim our faith in Word and Sacrament when we gather as a Christian community around the table of the Lord to celebrate Mass and to share in the Sacrifice the Lord offered.”
