Dedication of the Church of St. Philip Bonitus

Bishop Murphy offered this homily at the Mass to celebrate the dedication of the Church of St. Philip Bonitus in Scobey, MT. In closing he offered the following thought, “As a bishop, it is always a joy and a privilege to dedicate a new church. A church is a sign of life within a community. May this new church also be an invitation for others to become members of our community of faith.”
