The Demands of Ministry Today

Bishop Murphy uses his weekly Montana Catholic Register “Reflections” column to urge all lay ministers to see their service as far more than just fulfilling a task to be performed. He states, “But perhaps the most critical demand for all ministers – ordained and non-ordained – is the need for constant growth and development. Ministry cannot be just a task or function. It is a way of life that calls for growth or else we watch it die within ourselves and others.”
