Marriage Involves Everybody

Bishop Murphy in his weekly Montana Catholic Register “Reflections” column articulates his vision on how the sacrament of marriage involves far more people than just the bride, groom and priest. The following passage from this column illustrates his perspective, “I believe the Church through the diocese and the parishes in our communities must look for ways in which the Christian community not only prepares a couple for marriage but also to search for opportunities whereby the marriage relationship is sustained and strengthened.”
