Ministry in the Church Today

Bishop Murphy in his weekly Montana Catholic Register “Reflections” column shares his thoughts on the way in which all Catholics can and must participate in the multitude of ministries available in the church today. He says, “Ministry in the Church today, if we are to be faithful to the Gospel, demands the unpleasant task, at times, of not taking the popular stance, of articulating a contrary opinion that is more consonant with the Gospel, of being willing to speak up when it is far easier to remain silent.”
