Engaged Encounter National Convention

The importance of relationships is the crux of Archbishop Murphy’s homily delivered at a Mass celebrated for the Engaged Encounter National Convention in Bellevue, WA. He asserts that the essential factor for any relationship is the willingness to believe in another person. All relationships must be rooted in faith. “The challenge we need to share with couples who invite us to intrude into their lives is to ask them to live out the same relationship with one another as they are asked to have with a good and gracious God who has given them the ability to live, to laugh, to weep, to love,” said Archbishop Murphy.
