Hopes for the future

Archbishop Murphy discusses the introduction of the new archdiocesan vision statement and the future goals and aspirations of the Church of Western Washington in his weekly Catholic Northwest Progress “In Joy and Hope” column. The vision statement encompasses a number of areas including the parish community, families, education and social justice. “As a church, we have the ongoing responsibility to continue the mission and ministry of Jesus,” said Archbishop Murphy. “We do that best when we ask, ‘Where do we find God, and where does God find us?'”
