Labor Day: Thanks to those who labor for the church

Archbishop Murphy dedicates his weekly Catholic Northwest Progress “In Joy and Hope” column to acknowledging and thanking all of the clergy, religious men and women, lay ministers and volunteers who labor on behalf of the church. “This Labor Day, I would like to express my gratitude, and the gratitude and appreciation of countless others, to the men and women who serve the church here in Western Washington,” said Archbishop Murphy. “We are blessed with the presence of gifted people who devote their lives to continuing the mission and ministry of Jesus among us.”
