Feast of the Transfiguration – Tekawitha Conference

The words Peter uttered at the scene of the Transfiguration “Lord, it is good for us to be here” is the central theme of Archbishop Murphy’s homily given at a Mass celebrated for the Tekawitha Conference in St. James Cathedral in Seattle, WA. “Somehow or other, we are asked to live our lives with the vision of Jesus in front of us,” said Archbishop Murphy. “We must recognize the need to bring Jesus more into our lives each day.”
