Multicultural Community Celebration – International Marian Festival

Archbishop Murphy celebrates the great diversity in the Catholic Church in his homily delivered at a Mass for the Multi-Cultural Community at St. James Cathedral in Seattle, WA. He acknowledges the many different ethnicities and cultures present in the congregation but at the same time declares we are all united in Christ Jesus. “Our gatherings during this month when we recognize the gift of people from Asia and the Pacific Islands, help us appreciate the richness of our Church … ,” said Archbishop Murphy. “It is good that we celebrate this diversity because we are stronger because of it.”
