Spirituality: A matter of life or death

In the fifth in a series of six columns on spirituality for the Catholic Northwest Progress, Archbishop Murphy recounts the tale of Lazarus. In his view, this story depicts in human terms the essence of spirituality and our relationship to God – it is a matter of life and death. “The miracle of raising Lazarus from the dead prepares us for the passion, death and resurrection of Jesus,” said Archbishop Murphy.
