Celebration of Reconciliation – Presbyterate of the Archdiocese of Seattle

“Reconciliation calls us to honesty and integrity” Archbishop Murphy proclaims to the Presbyterate of the Archdiocese of Seattle in his homily at a Reconciliation Celebration at St. James Cathedral. In his view, reconciliation is a gift far too many Catholics fail to embrace. The archbishop urges all present to turn their hearts to God. “Reconciliation would be much easier if it were only an issue of the mind; it is really a choice of the heart,” said Archbishop Murphy. “And when we pray from the heart, we do not pray to find God, but we pray rather so that God can find us.”
