Expecting the unexpected

Fidelity, for priests, religious women and men and the laity, is the main focus of Archbishop Murphy’s weekly Catholic Northwest Progress “In Joy and Hope” column. Our faith is based on a strong commitment to fidelity. He comments on how we instinctively turn to God when tragedy or hardship comes our way – and in every instance God is present to us. The archbishop urges all Christians to recognize the imperative of fidelity. “Fidelity in ministry asks us to have our lives reflect the religious values we share with others. Otherwise, we become living signs of contradiction,” said Archbishop Murphy.
