Christmas – ’92

“What can I give?” is the question Archbishop poses in the Christmas edition of his weekly Catholic Northwest Progress “In Joy and Hope” column. “For me, this is the haunting question and challenge of Christmas,” he said. “As people share gifts with us, and as we remind ourselves of God’s incredible love for each of us, it is only right for us to ask this question.” Christmas touches the human heart in a unique way. The archbishop sees Christmas as a time to break down barriers between people – in doing so we imitate God who assumed the human condition to do the same.
