Communication: How do we transmit values?

The vital role communications plays in continuing the mission and ministry of Jesus Christ is the subject of Archbishop Murphy’s weekly “In Joy and Hope” column for the Catholic Northwest Progress. The influence of the media in today’s society is pervasive. It plays a huge role in defining many values for people of all ages. “We need to use the media to help share the teaching of the church with our young people,” said Archbishop Murphy. “This is so important when it comes to issues of integrity, honesty, sexuality, vocation and faith.”
