Sisters of Providence – 1992 Jubilee Celebration

Archbishop Murphy delivered this homily at a Mass to celebrate the service anniversaries of 16 members of the Sisters of Providence at Holy Rosary Church in Seattle, WA. Ministering with and to religious women was an integral aspect of Archbishop Murphy’s entire life as a priest and bishop. “To all of you here to celebrate your jubilee of religious life, thank you for the way in which you have been faithful to Providence and for the difference you have made and continue to make in the lives of people,” said Archbishop Murphy.
