Blessing of Elizabeth House

Archbishop Murphy offered these remarks at the grand opening of Elizabeth House in Seattle, WA. This facility will serve the needs of pregnant women in crisis. The archbishop described Elizabeth House as a graphic example of the Church working in partnership with government and the local community to meet human needs. “May Elizabeth House provide an experience for women to be affirmed and appreciated for the gift of life they will share with another human being,” said Archbishop Murphy.
