What vision do we have for the church of Western Washington?

Archbishop Murphy devotes his weekly “In Joy and Hope” column for the Catholic Northwest Progress to sharing his vision for the Archdiocese of Seattle. He acknowledges the vital role of fundraising; however, the archbishop believes our spiritualty behind who we are and what we do as disciples of Jesus is far more important. “Somehow or other, in whatever we do which involves finances, structures, or personnel, we must ask how the decision will bring us to a deeper spirituality, a quality awareness that we are finding God and God is finding us,” said Archbishop Murphy.
