Christ is born – Christ will come again

In his Christmas Day Catholic Northwest Progress “In Joy and Hope” column, Archbishop Murphy conveys the importance for all people to recognize Christ’s presence among us this Advent season. He describes the true meaning of Christmas as the opportunity to discover the wonder, adventure, love and excitement of Christ’s presence among us. “Christmas offers all of us a unique challenge,” said Archbishop Murphy. “Christmas asks us not only to come to Bethlehem and to discover the presence of God in a crib, but we are also asked to leave Bethlehem and to walk with Christ, to take the risk of being his disciples.”
