Lynden High School Baccalaureate Mass

Dreams and visions were the focus of Archbishop Murphy’s homily delivered at the Baccalaureate Mass for the Lynden High School Class of 1991. He offered his perspectives for their dreams and visions from three vantage points: the reality of a good and gracious God, the reality of others and the reality of themselves. “Yes, you are invited to build a world which recognizes God, appreciates others, and help you become aware of the goodness which is part of each of your lives,” said Archbishop Murphy. “My prayer for you, good friends, is that our good and gracious God will show his face to you in love.”
