In his keynote address to the Pacific Northwest Student Coalition, Archbishop Murphy challenged all young people to wrestle with God. “You have to wrestle with a God who gave His own Son to a bloody death, with a Christ who promised perplexing paradoxes: life through death, losing all to gain all, blessedness on the poor and hungry and those who weep, woes on the rich and the fat and the merry, ” said Archbishop Murphy. In his view, wresting with God provides the opportunity to grow as human beings, young adults and Christians.
