Midnight Mass – Vietnamese Catholic Community

In this homily offered at the Midnight Mass celebrated with the Vietnamese Catholic community, Archbishop Murphy emphasizes the importance of the Word of God as Catholics around the world celebrate the birth of Jesus Christ. He challenges all present to find ways to make the Word of God come alive among us today. “The Word of God is alive today when we take the risk of being faithful to the challenge which Jesus gave us – a challenge of life, hope and faith,” said Archbishop Murphy. “God wants to speak His Word today and we must help the world to hear the Word of God.”
