Advent Tree Blessing Service

Peace is the main theme of Archbishop Murphy’s blessing at an Advent Tree Blessing Service celebrated at Providence Hospital in Seattle, WA. He describes Advent as a time of year when all Christians look for the gift of peace by opening their lives to the experience of waiting. In closing, the archbishop offered the following thought, “The challenge for us to seek ways to make that peace come alive within ourselves so that we might share this gift with others.”
