Nothwest Catholic Charismatic Conference

In his homily at a Mass celebrated in conjunction with the Northwest Catholic Charismatic Conference in Tacoma, WA, Archbishop Murphy describes all followers of Jesus as waiting people. He urges all those present to not just sit and wait. The archbishop declares emphatically that the Kingdom of God is here. “And as people open to the power of the Holy Spirit, your challenge is to share that Kingdom with others by renewing the face of the earth,” said Archbishop Murphy. “We must take the gifts of the Holy Spirit and not only preach them, but live them in ways that make a difference.”
