Jubilee Celebration – Sisters of Providence

Archbishop Murphy offered this homily at the Jubilee Celebration Mass for the Sisters of Providence at Mt. St. Vincent in Seattle, WA. He acknowledged the many contributions the Sisters of Providence have made in the fields of healthcare, education, pastoral ministry and administration. The archbishop likened today’s celebration to a story of love. “The Lord challenges all those who dare to take the risk of being his disciples to love one another as he has loved us,” said Archbishop Murphy. “It is the Lord who calls us his friends and offers us the command and the challenge to love one another.”
