National Pastoral Life Center – Regional Convocation

Archbishop Murphy delivered this homily at a Mass celebrated in conjunction with the Regional Convocation of the National Pastoral Life Center. The archbishop took the opportunity to emphasize the importance of quality experience of church and ministry. He describes the Lord’s challenge to reveal and reflect His presence in who we are and what we do. “But again, the bottom line issue is that our ministry is not yours or mine; it is the Lord’s,” said Archbishop Murphy. “Our ministry must not only reveal our own gifts, competencies, talents; our ministry must reveal the Lord himself.”
