Into the 1990’s: The Call to Priesthood

Archbishop Murphy offered his thoughts on a wide range of topics related to the priesthood and the Catholic Church in this address to the National Federation of Priests’ Councils (NFPC) 20th Annual Convention in Louisville, KY. He also shared some personal reflections on his experiences as a priest, seminary rector and bishop. As the Chair of the Bishop’s Committee on Priestly Life and Ministry, Archbishop Murphy served as the liaison between the NFPC and the National Conference of Catholic Bishops.
