Lutheran Social Services of Washington Fundraising Dinner

Archbishop Murphy offered his thoughts and reflections on ecumenism, the vital need for the Catholic and Lutheran Churches in Western Washington to assist the less fortunate and the concept of stewardship in his keynote address at the Lutheran Social Services of Washington Fundraising Dinner. “Stewardship calls people to recognize possessions as gifts of God,” said Archbishop Murphy. “Created in the image of God, human beings must use these gifts for their own good and the good of others whereby we offer to God the prayerful acknowledgement of His sovereignty.”
