Celebration for Respect Life

In his homily at the Celebration for Respect Life at St. Ann’s Cathedral in Great Falls, MT, Bishop Murphy offers a series of reflections on the gift of life. This Mass took place on the 14th anniversary of the Supreme Court’s Roe v. Wade decision legalizing abortion on demand in the United States. “I believe that as disciples of Jesus, we must do all we can to restore a respect for life among all people from the moment of conception to the moment of death,” said Bishop Murphy. “We must help to create a new heart and a new spirit within ourselves and people today.”
