St. Gabriel’s Church 100th Anniversary Celebration

Bishop Murphy presided at the Mass to celebrate the 100th Anniversary of St. Gabriel’s Church in Chinook, MT. He seized on a passage from scripture read that evening as the principal point of focus for his homily, “Let the Word of Christ, rich as it is, dwell in you.” The bishop proceeded to offer the following challenge to all present. “I believe more than anything else, the Word of God asks us to make our faith come alive in our daily lives. We must try to live out what we say we believe and dare to become people of hope, love, faith, patience.”
