Presbyterate of the Diocese of Great Falls-Billings, MT

Bishop Murphy delivered his annual State of the Diocese Address to the Presbyterate of the Diocese of Great Falls-Billings, MT. He shared a series of personal reflections on the diocese, his role as bishop and the church in general. In closing, he said, “I have learned to take a half hour or more each morning to pray. My hope is that such prayer will give me the grace to be the Bishop I want to be, to be the person who will live up to what I chose as a motto when I was ordained: Gaudium et spes in Christo. Joy and Hope in Christ. I really don’t know where else you and I can find it.”
