Holy Thursday at St. Ann’s Cathedral

Bishop Murphy uses “time” as a symbol to frame his Holy Thursday homily. In his view, Holy Thursday marks the beginning of a sequence of days when we will celebrate the great mystery of all time – the resurrection of Jesus. He concludes this homily with the following thought, “Tonight begins a sacred time. It is the time of salvation, a time of life, a time of grace. May it be all this and more for each of us as we receive the great gifts which the Lord offers to each of us – the gifts of His body and blood, the gift of his love and service.”
