A Question Of Stewardship

In his weekly Montana Catholic Register “Reflections” column, Bishop Murphy comments on the continuing economic hardships faced by farms and ranchers in Eastern Montana. He also takes the opportunity to advocate for the quality of life offered by living and working in rural America. He shared the following thought, “Farmers and ranchers recognized the vocation which is theirs, which is so dependent on God’s grace and blessing. Over and over again, I heard people speak in terms of “stewardship,” of recognizing that we are trustees of what God has shared with us.”
