The Values of Land

In his weekly Montana Catholic Register “Reflections” column, Bishop Murphy focuses on the current economic hardships facing farmers and ranchers throughout Eastern Montana. He asks all those members of the Church of Eastern Montana who farm, ranch or otherwise live off the land to send their thoughts on what the church can and should do for them – to assist in dealing with hardship. These comments will be incorporated into a pastoral letter the bishops of the United States will issue on the economy.
