Have We Lost a Gift?

The sacrament of reconciliation and the gift of peace it offers are the subjects of Bishop Murphy’s weekly Montana Catholic Register “Reflections” column. He laments the decline in the use of the sacrament. In closing, Bishop Murphy expresses the following thought, “Peace and forgiveness were Christ’s Easter gifts to the Christian community. We take advantage of these gifts through the Sacrament of Reconciliation.”
