A Commitment to Compassion

Bishop Murphy served for a number of years as the episcopal advisor to the Society of St. Vincent de Paul in the United States. In his address to their Annual National Convention, he focused his remarks on what he described as the critical heart of Vincentian ministry – a commitment to compassion.
