The Future of the Priesthood

Bishop Murphy delivered the address “The Future of the Priesthood” to the Serra International National Convention in Vancouver, British Columbia. This comprehensive overview of the priesthood consists of four parts: 1) Assess the main issues regarding the priesthood today, 2) Determine if these issues have been addressed in light of the Gospel and the faith tradition we share, 3) Reflect on the doctrine and heritage of Roman Catholicism and 4) Peer into the future with a certain hesitation and great hope.
