A Matter of Life and Death

In recognition of Respect Life Weekend, Bishop Murphy dedicates his weekly “Reflections” column in the Montana Catholic Register to valuing and protecting the gift of life from conception to natural death. “To subordinate the life of the unborn to the personal values of others or to the goals of society is morally unacceptable,” says Bishop Murphy. “Abortion is a grave evil which must be countered by a public policy effort aimed at the legislative, judicial and administrative areas to guarantee effective protection for the right to life.”
