A time to be born – A time to graduate

This weekly Montana Catholic Register “Reflections” column by Bishop Murphy focuses on young people as they graduate and move on to higher educational pursuits or begin their professional careers. Working with young people was one of the most vibrant aspects of Bishop Murphy’s life and ministry. He says, “I find our young people honest and forthright. They want to be part of the Church, not as mere spectators, but rather as involved members of the Christian community. They are looking for guidance and direction, challenge and vision. They especially want the Gospel to be preached to the concerns and issues or their lives.”
