Will your parish have a resident priest?

Bishop Murphy uses his weekly Montana Catholic Register “Reflections” column to draw attention to the dire need for vocations to the priesthood. He asks all of the faithful to actively engage in encouraging vocations. In closing, he says, “The celebration of the Eucharist is at the heart of the Roman Catholic faith community. To have priests residing in your community to celebrate this Eucharist with you is a concern of many in the Church today. Will your parish community have a resident priest? The answer is being determined now by our prayers and within our families, parish communities and diocese. What answer will we give?”
