A new year – new dreams and hopes

With the dawn of a new year, Bishop Murphy dedicates his weekly Montana Catholic Register “Reflections” column to sharing a list of hopes and dreams for the Diocese of Great Falls-Billings, MT. He shares that New Year’s Eve for the last 25 years has been a day of reflection as it marks the anniversary of his father’s death. In closing, he says, “I don’t know what my father would say about my dreams and hopes for a new year. But I do know that he taught me to be a dreamer and each New Year’s Eve when I reflect on what he shared with me, I know I can only wake the next day if I have dreams to share and hopes to fulfill. I pray you might share my dreams and hopes for 1982.”
