Christmas Midnight Mass

Bishop Murphy delivered this homily at the celebration of Midnight Mass at Sacred Heart Church in Miles City, MT. He touches on a number of themes in the sermon. In his view, “Despite all the running around for Christmas gifts and getting the Christmas cards in the mail on time and making sure you have the right batteries for the right toys, there is a hidden truth that Christians celebrate openly: deep down inside, we want the universe to be, ultimately a place of generosity and intimacy.”
