The cry of the prophets – but does anyone hear?

As the season of Advent begins, Bishop Murphy uses his weekly Montana Catholic Register “Reflections” column to urge all the faithful to act like the prophet Isaiah and speak out on pressing social issues such as abortion, nuclear arms and prejudice. In closing he states, “The Church, if it is to continue the mission of Christ, must be the prophet today – not on the world’s terms, but on Christ’s! Do we have the courage to listen – and respond? Happy Advent!”
