What Do We Owe The Next Generation?

In his weekly Montana Catholic Register “Reflections” column, Bishop Murphy describes the strong constructive influence religious education plays in the growth and development of young people. He says, “We owe the next generation the gift of religious education and formation. We share that gift with them through Catholic schools and religious education and formation programs. But we ourselves could become the best textbook through the example we offer. Our own involvement in appreciating our ministry in the Church today through prayer reading, discussion and reflection is a priceless gift.”
