Vocations To Religious Life and Priesthood

The shortage of vocations to the priesthood and religious life is the subject of Bishop Murphy’s weekly Montana Catholic Register “Reflections” column. He identifies some of the causes for the precipitous drop in vocations and also offers a number of potential ideas to address the problem. In his opinion, “Presenting the religious life and priesthood to the young is the responsibility not only of the priests and religious in the parish, but of the laity well.”
