Diocesan Pastoral Council

Bishop Murphy expresses his wish for the creation of a Diocesan Parish Council in his weekly Montana Catholic Register “Reflections” column. He also emphasizes the importance for all parishes in the diocese to establish parish councils. In closing he says, “Whatever way it develops, however, a Pastoral Council at a Diocesan level, as well as at a parish level must recognize its primary responsibility of developing a Christian Catholic community of faith and worship through prayer, evangelization, liturgy, adult formation and education.”
