Law and the Christian

Bishop Murphy dedicates his weekly Montana Catholic Register “Reflections” column to the tensions caused in the lives of some by the laws of the Catholic Church. He asserts that laws and freedom go hand in hand. They are meant to complement one another. In closing he says, “We are members of a universal Church that goes beyond the boundaries of our parishes and diocese. Law helps us to have an identity as members of the universal Church.”
